Instructional Model

All lessons follow the routine of I DO, WE DO, YOU DO instructional model.

I DO: Students watch and engage with a selected video episode from the Howie Games Podcast. This aspect is interactive, where Howie will stop the video and ask the students to reflect in certain ways on what they have just watched.

WE DO: After the videos have completed, this is a time for students to share their reflections with the class, group or pair and where the teacher generates wondering and discussion around the learning intention.

YOU DO: Students complete the designated activity that links to the learning intention.
